What an awesome first full month of school we’ve had! September was filled with so much excitement, and it has been amazing to see our Smith community come together.
Our Fall Carnival was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, participated, and came out to enjoy the evening with our families. Events like this truly show what makes our school community so special. It was also wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces at our first in-person PTA meeting. We loved having the opportunity to connect with everyone and are looking forward to an exciting year together!
The COUGAR CHASE, our biggest fundraiser of the year, is happening right now, and we need your help! If you haven’t registered yet, please take a few minutes to go to Pledgestar and do so ASAP. The Cougar Chase funds all of our events, programs, and activities for the whole school year.
Trunk or Treat is coming up at the end of the month! We would love to see even more families sign up to decorate a trunk and join in the fun. Keep an eye out for opportunities to donate candy, too—we’ll need plenty of treats to make the night a success!
A quick reminder that early dismissal for Fall Conferences begins today and runs through October 16th. All grades will be dismissed at 1:30 PM during this time.
While it certainly doesn’t feel like fall with this heat wave, we are excited to officially enter the spooky season! 👻🎃 We have lots of fun planned for October, and we can’t wait to celebrate with our Smith families.
